They are targeting Leganes defender Diego Rico to fill the void in defence
They are focusing on the Spaniard after being put of by Kieran Tierney's fee
Bournemouth are continuing talks with Leganes for left-back Diego Rico.
Manager Eddie ส โบ เบ็ ต Howe wanted Celtic's Kieran Tierney, as did Everton, but with the asking price at £25m he has focused attention on 25-year-old Rico.
The Spaniard still has a relatively high release clause at £17.5m but Bournemouth hope it represents better value.
Meanwhile, fellow Premier League side Wolves have been reported to FIFA by Sporting Lisbon for signing Rui Patricio.
The Portuguese are demanding £48m and want Wolves banned for two transfer windows in a 63-page document. Patricio rescinded his contract with Sporting in May. Wolves believe they have a sound legal argument.
Fulham have spoken to Nice about signing their centre back Maxime Le Marchand.
The 28-year-old can play at left-back, centre-back or even defensive midfield and is in the final year of his contract.
Fulham are already negotiating with Nice for midfielder Jean Michael Seri but manager ส โบ เบ็ ต Slavisa Jokanovic is particularly short of options in defence with Tomas Kalas likely to return to Chelsea following last season's loan spell.
West Brom have taken Kieran Richardson, 33, Martin Cranie, 31, and Nigel Reo-Coker, 34, to a training camp at the University of St Andrews in Fife.
Birmingham City are hopeful of resolving their Financial Fairplay restrictions and overturn a temporary transfer embargo.
Aston Villa are facing a greater struggle to comply as they need to raise £40m.
Manchester United midfielder Matty Willock, 21, is wanted back on loan by Scottish Premiership side St Johnstone.
RB Leipzig have confirmed the signing of Nottingham Forest's 16-year-old defender Matthew Bondswell despite interest from Manchester United, Liverpool and Southampton, as revealed by Sportsmail. ส โบ เบ็ ต
